At the SC Black Maternal Health Collective, we are dedicated to addressing the unique challenges faced by Black, Brown, and Indigenous women in South Carolina, particularly around maternal health and family support. Our programs are designed to uplift and empower women by offering essential resources, advocacy, and education.
The Bundles of Love Diaper Bank supports families in our community who need assistance with diapers for children from birth to four years of age. To participate in the Bundles of Love Diaper Bank, families must be eligible to receive WIC, SNAP, or Medicaid. Diapers are distributed to registered participants at distribution events held throughout the year. To allow our team to prepare for the community distribution events, families are required to register for each event. To connect with a doula, please fill out our questionnaire form, and someone from our team will connect with you soon.
The Period, Sis Program fights period poverty head-on by delivering menstrual products to schools, shelters, and communities in need. Our kits provide the essentials, pads, liners, and hygiene items, so no one has to sacrifice their dignity or education because of a natural cycle. We are here to say: periods are normal, products are a right, and dignity is non-negotiable.
The Sister Doula Collective is a community of birth workers rooted in sisterhood and love united by a shared mission: to provide Comfort, Advocacy, and Care during some of life’s most sacred moments. We provide free doula services to moms in York, Chester, Lancaster, Spartanburg, Greenville, and Cherokee Counties. We are rooted in the belief that no one should walk the journey of pregnancy, birth, or postpartum alone. The Collective creates a safe, affirming space where doulas uplift one another and the families we serve. Through mentorship, collaboration, and shared resources, the Sister Doula Collective strengthens the doula community while expanding free access to care to communities across the Carolinas. Together, we honor the sacred work of birth, reclaim traditions of village support, and stand as advocates for reproductive justice.
If you’re interested in supporting the Village Diaper Program, we welcome both financial donations and diaper donations. You can also volunteer with us to help with diaper drives, packing, and distribution.
